I am Dr. Manuel Rubio Sánchez and I am a specialist in aesthetic medicine, laser, nutrition, obesity, beauty, and well-being; I am also currently the Medical Director of the CIME Clinic.
How and when did you decide that you wanted to dedicate yourself to the world of aesthetics?
The vocation comes to me since I was a child. I have an uncle who is a plastic surgeon and from a very young age, he took me with him to the hospitals and clinics where he worked and taught me the different treatments that existed in relation to plastic surgery and aesthetic medicine. In addition, I always insisted that for a doctor the most important thing is to know how to treat his patients, the dedication that has to be put and the care in every detail.
How would you define yourself professionally?
I am a very thorough and perfectionist doctor in my work. In addition, I seek to give humane treatment to each of my patients, because I understand that it is not only a specific problem or characteristic but that it has a psychological component that must be taken into account.
What has been the key moment of your career?
Within the field of aesthetic medicine, it was when I significantly improved the quality of life of a patient who had many vascular lesions on the face (telangectasis), which forced her to make up a lot throughout the day so that they did not notice so much simple sight After a few sessions with the Neodimio Yag laser, I managed to reduce the veins by 90%, so the patient was very happy since those lesions had disappeared and I felt that her skin was much better, she even confessed that she now looked and She felt good about herself, and that filled me as a professional.
What is the most common treatment and what does it consist of?
Currently, the treatments that I perform most are varicose veins treatments, both sclerotherapies, and laser treatments. They are treatments that give great results from the first session.
What do you like most about your profession?
The patients' gratitude for helping them solve the problems they went to the clinic.

How would you define your professional philosophy?
Always tell the truth about each treatment, do not create a false expectation, because my duty as a doctor, is when you can and when you can not help. For me, health is a matter of trust, and therefore we must earn it.

Every day when I evaluate and/or care for a patient I always try to explain why things happen, why they happen so that he understands that the treatment he indicated will work because we are treating the root of the problem, consequently seeking the most appropriate treatment. I think it is important not only to treat but to explain the cause of each problem and its effects.
How can CIME Clinic help improve the internal and external appearance of its patients?
For example, when we take care of a patient with obesity, we analyze their internal environment through an analysis. Then a multidisciplinary team will prepare a personalized feeding plan to do a food re-education. But at the CIME Clinic, we not only look for the patient to lose weight but to look physically better, so we put all our appliances to help avoid sagging, improve that area with localized fat, etc. So we make the sum of all that help that patient to look and feel good about himself, thereby increasing and improving his self-esteem and therefore his quality of life.

Any future projects that can be revealed?
We are working on several new projects for the clinic but I still can't get ahead to reveal anything, which I can say that at the CIME Clinic we always go in search of technological innovation, especially in the field of medical lasers.
